We booked a last minute flight! Therefore, Ethel & I didn’t had the same privileged of going on board a direct flight. We had to settle for a transit flight from KL first then all the wayyyyyy to Paris. Aunt J met us in the Airport all bright and cheerful after a 12 hours flight whereas we kinda looked like this:

Although I was looking around with my eyes half closed, I couldn’t keep my eyes off the floor tile, the roof, the ceiling fixtures etc etc..  Everything was amazing!! (Job hazard alert)

^ I need these tiles to be in my future bathroom.

We took 45 minutes long journey to our hotel via the shuttle bus. Here’s a random photo of Aunt J…. and the shaky view of Paris while we were travelling through a tunnel. lol

After we left our luggage in the hotel, we took a train to Montmarte.

We climb up to Sacré-Cœur Basilica (Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus), where the church is erected at the highest point in the north of the city in Paris.

Oh yea, here’s a picture of hot babes climbing the hill for my non-existent male/bisexual/lesbian readers. I have this habit of taking photographs of strangers and Aunt J doesn’t quite like it.

Wanted to show you guys those coins imprinted with these monumental buildings which cost about 2 Euros but I think I have misplaced them.

After admiring the church in both interior & facade up close, we walked downhill and reached a cluster of shophouses (Montmarte?) where we had our lunch, see artworks by artists with lots of pride in their work (I couldn’t even afford a 50x50mm sized art piece!), bought lots of pins and see many *Chinese tourist with their lime green Louis Vuitton bags walking in clusters smiling from ear to ear.

* I am also Chinese but just not as wealthy

While absorbing everything I see around me in Montmarte, I noticed these two artist sitting very very still. I swear both of them look as though they came right out from a portrait.

^ Does anyone knows how to braid your hair like that? Please teach me!!

So…there you have it!!  Here’s an erupt conclusion to my first post on my trip to Paris!! I guess I have lost my touch with blogging cause this post took 3 hours to finish. The agony. I sincerely hope the next part wouldn’t take another year. *crosses fingers* (and I hope the handsome person paying for the domain would be kind enough to tolerate this terrible behavior too)

You guys are a mixture of fun, laughter, hate, joy, sweet, caring and bitter bunch of friends during this tough and harsh past three years. Without you guys I would have probably commited suicide… or something. Thank you for bearing with my stupidity and annoyance even during 10 minutes before a major submission. If I didn’t show my gratitude then, here it is now..

I’ll never forget staying overnight in the studio without the lights on because we were too timid to face security guards, you guys waking up in the morning buying breakfast for me(!!!) (so touched), stuffing ourselves like pigs, celebrating someone’s 21st birthday early (lol), walking aimlessly in school, running back to the workshop to help each other out when we know it’s 4:58 and the workshop closes at 5, my fascination with indian men from my school and you guys ignorance (I SWEAR THEY LOOK LIKE THEY CAME STRAIGHT OUT OF A BOLLYWOOD MOVIE! *SWOON*) and lastly, gossiping a lot.

I will never forget our internship forever! Running around avoiding the other colleague during lunch couldn’t be better without you. Covering you while you are holding toilet paper around raffles city, buying cheap clothes with you, gossiping of that said colleague when we’re on the way home, EATING DIM SUM and your long denial of love with Haziq whom I am assured that he is your soul mate. Remember when we bathed in the men’s toilet in school while Haziq is outside guarding for us if any guys are coming in? AHAHAHHAA I know you love me. Me love you much too.

Oh yea, we can still either go back to Seah Street for that delicious barley or you can make that for me. (and also eat hum)

HAHAAHHAHA Thank you so much for helping me out regarding autoCAD, Viz, Sketchup etc etc, for your unwillingness to help carry my heavy device, your one and only memorable and extremely long car ride for all of us (heh heh), telling me that eating only chicken nuggets will help me achieve your slender figure and me pairing you up with hot babes like *** Ha***a* *We can plan a secret meet up and I’ll dance for you again like I did at foodcourt 1 *

Dozing off while staring at the computer to sneaking out together out of my house to buy hokkien mee at 2am, you trying to look campbell soup for me at 3am (crazy things we do at night), sleeping together, me hitching you up with hot indian men, you rejecting my offer, plucking plastic for 5 hours in the night at your house, walking in the dark in school, bathing in the said toilet with HJ, eating sakae and singing lips even when we’re dead broke! SAME birthdays! Complaining about a specific lecturer, going to the weirdest places because we’re bored, eating sea salt and caramel ice cream while looking at boys, you checking out boys while I’m half asleep while walking to the other train, going to the zara sale first in the morning (HEH HEH) and calling you michelle~ my belle~ I love you and you love me too.

The first time at met you in orientation camp in year 1 I knew we were meant to be. Making fun of people, running in the forest at 3am because of some stupid camp activity -_- getting lost because of some fat guy who assume he knew the way back.. AHHH GOOD MEMORIES. I kinda miss Nicholas too. I will never forget of you getting cold all the time, you taking my jacket, you eating my food, you scolding me, you taking all my lunch money, you bullying me in front of others, you taking my pencil, you returning my pencil, you taking the attention away from all the hot guys who are actually set their eyes on me first, you waiting for us when we are always 3423743619 hours late, you letting me stay at your house and sleeping together, you scolding me playing majong too slowly. HHAHAHAHA I WANNA EAT HUM

Accompanying each other during gems at 8am or after school, you disliking eating alone because you said and I quote “people who eat alone are losers”, taking our photos without even notifying us, growing out your hair quicker than me (life is unfair), laughing at Sti-Wen Lim’s videos over and over again, watching 2 girls 1 cup together in class (glorifying moment out of the three years), all of us wanting to puke after 2 seconds of the clip, imitating Russell Peters, grow even more hair, hao lian to me that your hair is longer than mine, being our personal tech-man, staying overnight at Starbucks and giving us a ride to eat roti prata at 4am in the morning, waiting for Anita to take a dump at the roti prata shop and letting me wear your bangle every day during graduation show. Please cut your hair like in the picture above. PLEASE

You never cease to amaze me on how quick you can accomplish your work and go out for a movie after that even a day before submission. Thank you for always being the spaced out one (HAHAAH) and always in the search for food every 30 minutes. How are you so slim when you eat so much! TELL ME! Even if I were to eat 3 peas a day I would end up gaining 5kg a week! I will also never forget our encounter with that colourful live snake in the studio who tried to check you out by grinding your legs.

I cannot get over that you know all the toy box and aqua songs we played overnight in school that day.
